Amedisys is a great option for in home health care services. All of the nurses that helped me care for a wound that I was struggling to care for on my own were all professionally trained and it shows. I lost the battle to save my leg and I wound up having to have it amputated but it wasn't due to a lack of care provided to me by the nurses at Amedisys. Very hard to work with, absolutely zero flexibility with scheduling. On intake they seemed like they truly wanted to help my husband and me as much as possible but when I had a different suggestion for the best way to do range of motion I was told "it sounds like you know what you're doing we'll just discharge him tomorrow". I was very confused at the change of attitude they had not even showed up once to try at this point. They only came once to do a bed bath and nothing else.
