I live in the Bergen Hill neighborhood of Jersey City and the ambulance sirens sometimes go on for unnecessary lengths of time. Additionally, the sirens are used in a blast series that is impossible to ignore. Last night at 1 am a siren went on for at least five minutes and woke me out of a dead sleep.
