Checking in after a little over a year with Carmen at Ambitious. Simply put, there is a reason I show up every morning I am in town. I have been in some sort of athletics since I was 5. I have been coached by professional trainers for the majority of that time, including D1 and Olympic coaches. I am happy to report that the entire team at Ambitious has kept me engaged, supported, and challenged the whole time. This is not only true of the coaching, but of the other members as well. Aka known as Pippi, l loved my experience at Ambitious Athletics when spending 4 months in DC for work. The vibe was energetic, great music, encouraging staff and members. I was sad to leave this gym and I know where I will be if I ever am in DC in the future.

This is the best gym in the area by a huge margin. Coach Zach is a fantastic trainer that kept me motivated despite my busy work schedule, and he seemed to really care about my progress instead of just trying to get me to buy more sessions like trainers at the chain gyms. Once you're done with 1-on-1 training and start group classes, Coach Carm strikes the perfect balance between pushing you without overextending your limits. Space was super clean and staff was very welcoming.
