Extremely Disappointing Experience with Ambience Air We purchased through Ambience Air a fully ducted air conditioning unit on July 8th, 2024. However, within just two weeks of installation, the system started to malfunction. We promptly lodged an aftercare request on August 3rd, as the unit had completely stopped working. From the start of the installation, we have been disappointed with the service from Ambience Air. We were adamant that we wanted our outdoor units mounted to the roof and were promised this could be achieved by reducing the size of the air conditioner and purchasing two units instead of one only to be told halfway through the installation that this wouldn’t be possible, and they recommended that we mount the units to the wall instead. I feel like throwing $14,000 out of the window after installing a brand new aircon from Ambience Air last summer but it did not work for hotter days (38°C days), which was almost 1 month of summer. I reported immediately but did not hear back. It turned out that they installed the outdoor unit to the confined space (poor ventilation, air flow is blocked from 3.5 or all 4 directions), obstructed by high wall in front, which reduces the performance significantly. Worst experience, made multiple mistakes we had to get back multiple times. Experience was similar to trying to get a fault fixed with telstra. The photo was their third attempt to the internal filter. When cleaning realised they still hadn’t fitted properly. Have to fix it myself rather than trying to get them back again.
JFK recently installed our Fujitsu ducted system with the climate control sensors via Ambience Air's system. It is outstanding!!! The technology, the installation and every part of the process absolutely could not fault, the system itself - amazing! Our home is perfect, no noise, minimal increase in our power usage and the heating since installation has pretty much run 24/7!! It has surpassed our expectations for sure.
