The lack of communication between this provider and her patients is incredible. I was recently informed by my pharmacy that my medication could not be refilled because I had been discharged from Amber Gate's practice. I never received any communication from her or the office regarding this. There was never a letter, email, or call from the provider stating that I was being discharged. Inconsistent communication, incompetence, and lack of compassion. Stay away! I saw Amber for three years. Given our long-standing relationship I found it unkind and unprofessional that Amber discharged me so abruptly and impersonally. She never charged me a no-show fee, nor gave me any warnings about her policy, which I had signed so many years ago that reminders would have been useful. My spouse was five minutes late to her zoom appointment and was told she would not be allowed to be seen. She was then charged $150 as a no-show fee. The providers here have zero empathy or patience for these clients. State-defined cost-sharing arrangements(42 U.S.C. § 1396a (a)(14)) say you cannot charge more than $75.00. So this place is also not legally compliant. I advise not to go here.
