Dr. Amber Savells attended Graves County High School and then Murray State University before going to the University of Kentucky to complete her Master's Degree in Medical Sciences and then Medical Degree. She completed her residency training at Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati, OH and is glad to have returned home to Western Kentucky. Dr. Savells has two sons, Noah and Will. She and her family are active members of Heartland Worship Center.

Dr Savells was very rude, short and condescending. She disregarded everything my wife told her about prior history and symptoms. Savells told her she was wrong for thinking this way but offered no solutions. It is 2024, you can easily research online and get the exact symptoms from Mayo clinic, Cleveland clinic, Johns Hopkins and many other accredited medical websites that my wife describes but Savells flat tells my wife 'That is not a symptom of that.' She was my on call ob during my delivery. She acted as if she didn't want to be there was very insensitive impatient and quite frankly rude. Worst obgyn I've ever had. Would not deliver again at baptist bc of her.
It's a big fat NO from me. While her staff were friendly, she was not. At my first appointment, she flung open the door (no knocking), stepped up to the computer, and started firing questions. I had no idea who she was. She became angry and defensive when I asked her to explain the reasons behind a specific procedure. Both she and her nurse mocked and ridiculed me for expressing a concern. This doctor was belittling and incredibly rude to me and my mom post-d&c procedure. I didn't feel safe with her.

She maybe a good Dr but she has a terrible personality. She is snippy & sassy.
Very dissatisfied. She and her staff were very rude, judgmental and dismissive. I bled for two days after my pap-smear. I will not be seeing her again.
Dr. Savells is a very competent physician. Her bedside manner towards overweight patients is lacking in my experience. I can see why a patient might feel shamed and not return for follow up appointments and put their health at risk rather than be shamed further.
Just loved her staff, everyone was so nice!
