Amari provided amazing counseling for me after my fiancee passed away. The staff is caring and supportive.
I am currently working with a lady that is transferring from this facility to another hospice because she's received poor treatment by the nurses there. Per patient, "The nurses there are really mean, they have me in tears every day. They talk down to me and they degrade me all the time, one nurse said I wasn't dying/declining fast enough. In the process of transferring to another facility, she received a telephone call yesterday informing that she was discharged as of yesterday. We often didn’t understand what we were seeing or why it took what it did to get our dying loved one out of distress, but the Amari crew (and it was a crew!) stuck with us. Grateful for their presence, perseverance, compassion, and calm. We always knew they were there. We always knew that no matter the hour, someone would answer the phone and find us help. That’s critical when one is drowning on the other end of the line.
