The clinical operation reminds me of cattle herders. I don't think she heard a word I said. It's not so much as what I was told, it was how I was told it. Definitely not a pleasant experience.

Nice office environment. Staff was very pleasant and efficient. My consult appointment with Dr. Newman began on time and next steps were clearly outlined with a follow-up appointment booked within 2 weeks. How refreshing to have a medical office respect the patient's time and have scheduling availability that isn't months out! There are many other practices sharing this office building. I came to Amara to assess whether the eyelid dysfunction was severe enough to be covered by insurance. Although it may indeed qualify for coverage, I'm reconsidering the pros and cons of doing this now. I was given a very graphic description of both the procedure itself, as well as the long recovery period that would be necessary. Thank you for not sparing the "gory details." This allows me as the patient to make it better decision.
