The first time I saw Dr. amann he was very good spending over an hour with me going over treatment options and realistic outcomes. His explanations were much better then a precious Dr. I had seen the just wanted to do surgeries. Dr. Amann was in no rush to do surgeries. At the time I was a cash customer due to being a member in one of the Christian health sharing networks and has cash price was great. I was extremely happy with the results of my treatment with Dr. Amann. After suffering pain for years and extreme pain for almost 2 years it was gone within a week after surgery (microdiscectomy). Dr. Amann is very thorough and patient, answering any an all questions both before and after. He personally called me after the surgery to see how I was doing. I would definitely recommend him. The office personnel were also efficient and pleasant.
Very disappointed with lumbar laminectomy results. Pain began returning in less than a year. Procedure was inferior...spinous process clip “fusion” did not hold. Am now looking to another surgeon to fix the problem. I would not recommend this surgeon.
I had very bad Sciatica and neck pain. Dr. Amann operated on my lower back and my Sciatica pain is now gone. I was able to work in a few days with little or no back pain. I would highly recommend Dr. Amann and the Neurology and Neurosurgery Office.
Very satisfied. Chose Dr Amann as a result of recomendations of three medical professionals.
I am very impressed with Dr Amann and his staff. He gave me an option for a less invasive procedure which included a laminectomy and bone fusion with a much shorter recovery time than older traditional methods. The procedure went well and Dr Amann called that evening to check on me. Two weeks out and life is looking good.

I had seen 3 surgeons prior to having my procedure completed with Dr Amann. I decided on dr. Amann based on his openness about my condition and felt very comfortable that the many years of pain would be over. After my procedure I couldn't be happier I was walking the first day and within the first week and a half I had resumed normal day-to-day functions. Thanks to Dr Annan I finally have my life back for me and my family.
My initial visit with Dr. Amann went very well. He explained verbally and visually what he thought would help alleviate my back and leg pain. I was impressed! My surgery went well and after 2 months, I am completely pain free! Very impressed with this Doctor.
