My daughter required surgery that involved putting in a 5 inch nail for the length of her forearm 6 months ago, followed by removal of the nail 6 months later. Dr. McCoy did a stellar job with both of these surgeries! She also answered any questions we had in a kind manner. I highly recommend Dr. McCoy!
Worst Doctor I have ever seen. Patients shouldn't leave appointments feeling upset/unheard from a Doctor. Being seen with my infant son and she has Terrible bedside manner. If you don't enjoy working with kids or the public find a new profession. Getting a new provider ASAP
It's shocking how she speaks to colleagues in such a condescending and domineering way. Way out of line even for a surgeon.
I would provide a zero star review if it was possible. We were referred to UPMC Children’s Orthopaedic Urgent Care by my daughter's pediatrician following an injury that rendered her unable to walk due to extreme pain in her knee. It was the worst experience we've ever had and not aligned with the service I would expect being at Children's hospital. Without a question the worst experience I’ve ever had with a doctor regarding my son and concerns we (and other professionals) have. We were referred to a surgeon compared to a PA because his issues seemed “complex” and “technical”. This woman looked at my son for LESS THAN 10 seconds and said “your baby is fine”. She was so rude and dismissive I actually asked her to leave the room because of the way she was treating me. She then ignored me and slammed the door on her way out.
