I was with Dr. Vandenhul for several years as my GP. She was always respectful in our visits, and a fantastic listener, but occasionally gave me medical advice that I could not find substantial research to support. Largely this was related to nutritional supplements, but most notably she advised me that Testosterone-based HRT would be damaging to my liver, and that while she would refer me to an endocrinologist, she would advise me against pursuing it. Extremely unprofessional runs through the diagnostic procedure in less than two minutes. Doesn't listen to your concerns nor does he answer questions when asked directly, diverts, And pretends it's the patient's problem.This gentleman and I use that word loosely. It took me off of the medication because he said it would cause me To develop diabetes. I did the research is was correct. Only to be put back on that same drug the next time we met. Dr DeNell has been my primary care physician for 15 plus years. I highly recommend him to other patients.
Shows little interst and also thinks he can diagnose patient immediately and won't discuss issues while patient is in the room while family in room making patient feel worse
She was on call one night when I really needed Help. Never got to actually meet her, but she was so compassionate, concerned and caring I would love to meet with her!
