$150 trip fee from Kitchener to Waterloo!!! I was quoted $75 per man/hour minimum two men for rooftop snow removal and $69/bag salt if required. Understandable to have two people in the job for safety reasons however the second man was the gopher and distributing advertising to my neighbours which should have been attached to the neighbours door knobs but instead were placed in the snowbank at the end of the driveway. The salesman was a very nice guy, but didn’t seem to understand what he was talking about. Also very unprofessional. It should not take over an hour to quote 1 window. I contacted AM Group Exteriors to get a quote for my gutters (and potentially soffits/fascia) and waited 3 weeks only for them not to show up. I rebooked another appointment and a team of two people showed up, measured, and were generally pleasant to work with. The interaction took about 45 minutes and they wanted to review the quote with me in person.
