I went in with severe symptoms and pain that had been ongoing for months. I was primarily talked to about my weight, told to see another practitioner, and was told that I needed to start taking a very high-dose birth control pill. I mentioned that I was not interested in taking it due to health concerns and previous history of issues with the pill and she continued to insist that I take it. Alyssa is super thorough; and took time to answer questions; I hate going in to an appointment and feeling like the doctor or nurse does not care or have the time for my visit, but Alyssa took the time to listen and then provide answers and care.
