In years past she provided top-tier medical care, unfortunately our last appointment was rushed, she was unkind, and had poor bedside manner. It was sad because she is truly an expert in her field, and is a WEALTH of information. I chose to not to return to her after that experience. The other physicians and NPs at Tryon Medical are phenomenal.

I was dismayed to see a recent poor review for Dr. Kelly-Jones as this has not been my experience with her. I have been her patient for 7 years and have been very happy with her care. Yes, she does run labs to determine if HRT is appropriate and if contraindicated, I think most doctors would not use HRT for peri-menopause or menopause symtoms as as too much of a hormone can have significant negative side-effects. Sadly my experience with Dr Kelly-Jones was disappointing and a waste of time. She claims to be educated in menopause, however, I did not find her approach helpful or educated at all. She only seemed interested in treating me based on my labs, not my symptoms, which anyone familiar with perimenopause knows is not the best approach. Dr Kelly-Jones did not seem to want to listen to me, as her patient. She unnecessarily put me on thyroid medication (which I have since come off of, with absolutely no effect at all).
