First time there and it won't be the last. The food is excellent. We are quite impressed and we said it was our first time there how they walked us through the food menu as well as the desserts etc. Very friendly atmosphere.
When I lived on Green and McClay I would eat here several times a week. I moved to Colorado since then and haven't seen many Italian restaurants in my area. I tried a grinder at the local spot yesterday; the sandwich had much room for improvement. Next time I come back for a visit I'm eating here everyday. I miss what Alvarado's has to offer.
Amazing real Italian food. Can't believe it took us 30 years here to find it.

Phenomenal food and service! Friendly environment with that great family owned feel. Gigantic portion sizes at a reasonable prices. Incredible flavors. Had the stuffed shells and chicken parmesan and a gigantic dinner roll.
