Dr. Alvarez is exceptional and loyal doctor to his patients. He takes his time with his patients. He is very detailed to any doubts the patient or the parent might have. Dr. Alvarez and his staff are very courteous, respectful, humanitarian, and generous. I always have a great office experience. My daughter has been a patient at Dr. Alvarez office for the past 9 years.
Good doctor, explains problems well. The staff is friendly and office is very nice and clean. The wait is not bad, it compares to other doctors office, but it depends on the day. Sometimes I waited longer than others. Overall good experience.
Dr. Alvarez has been our pediatrician for ten years. He is attentive, professional and empathetic. Dr. Alvarez is an amazing doctor. Yes, you might an hour and a half but that's because he's full heartedly dedicated to his little patients. He's not concerned about reaching a target number. He's interested in reaching your child and your concerns when he's in the room. Dr. Alvarez will go the extra mile never taking short cuts. Their are very few of his kind left in the profession.
Extremely well-rounded, qualified physician who conducts a thorough medical examination. Dr. Alvarez focused on every detail of my son's healthcare and asked questions related to his present condition as well as his overall health history. He was soon to diagnose and treat my son as well as assure continuous medical care and results of treatment. Great experience. His staff and overall office environment is quick in answering calls and responding to emergency care.
worst office manager ever, the doctor is great!, buy management just care abut money and billing, it is very difficult to work with then specially dealing with insurance companies like Humana and medicaid

We follow your insurance's policies and procedures guidelines in attempting to collect from our patients. I extend my apologies if you were misinformed; however, I will always be available to explain how we arrive at the amounts we attempt to collect from our patients, and what your insurance company assigns as your responsibility.
It's all about money these days. They charge fees for everything. The office manager is his wife and she's rude and unprofessional. The wait is always in excess of 4 hours. You're better off going to urgent care as their office hours are for retired people not working families.

Sorry you feel this way, but when you are sick, we don't turn you away. We want to dedicate as much time and effort as we feel comfortable that your child is safe. We work until 7 and 8 pm Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays !!. We have Saturday Hours as well. Unfortunately our employees have children and expect a CHECK at the end of the week, Sorry we have to charge. When you know something good about someone, say it. If your experience is not so good, help us. Don't harm.. my apologies
I have been with dr.israel alvarez for 23 years. He's the best doctor for me and my 2 kids.
