Had an appointment even showed up 20 mins early! And ended up waiting a whole hour!!! Ridiculous especially being pregnant at that. To top it off dr pang gave me the worst experience ever. I’m currently 10 weeks pregnant and came in had me come in for a pap and once I went to the back room the nurse wanted me pick which birth control I wanted like what!!!??? IM PREGNANT!!! I definitely won’t be coming here again. Do better.
ZERO STARS. I had a Horrible experience at Altura OBGYN . I waited a total of an hour and a half because they were overbooked, and once I was finally in the room, I waited even longer. When the doctor finally came in, she spent 3 minutes max with me!!!! offered no explanations, and didn't even perform a full check-up. If you're pregnant, it’s honestly not worth the stress or the wait.
I reallly like this office. I have had two children in Tulare county (one through FHCN and the other through Altura). I prefer the care and attention I’ve received through Altura. The front desk staff is helpful, nurse staff is communicative and great, and the two OBGYNs I saw were great. You have to take into consideration that there is a huge shortage of medical staff in our area, a little patience goes a long way. The person on the phone who makes appointments doesn't know the difference between Obstetrician and Optometrist. I waited a week for their first available appointment as they were the only place taking new OB patients in the Visalia/Tulare area. Turns out it was all big waste of time. Lady on the phone scheduled me for an eye appointment so I got there I had to explain that I am six months pregnant and haven't had any prenatal care. They turned me away.
