Terrible experience. The doctor threw me out of the exam room because I wouldn’t let her talk over me when I was explaining my symptoms. Literally, explaining my symptoms and she attempts to talk over me and I said “can you please let me finish”. That’s when she tossed me out of the exam room. When I called to speak to patient advocate and give them my complaint they said they never received my complaint even though I filed it before I left the premises. Dr. Resendez is a horrible dr always has attitude not professional at all what so ever. Will not be seeing him again.
I reallly like this office. I have had two children in Tulare county (one through FHCN and the other through Altura). I prefer the care and attention I’ve received through Altura. The front desk staff is helpful, nurse staff is communicative and great, and the two OBGYNs I saw were great. You have to take into consideration that there is a huge shortage of medical staff in our area, a little patience goes a long way. This place is the worst!! I had high hopes and very excited to go here for my third pregnancy. Takes forever for them to answer your call . I have Dr Luthra for my obgyn and I’m on my third trimester and have only seen her about three times.Shes never available she’s always booked or cancelled last minute . They keep putting my appointments with other different doctors it’s just very frustrating. Also saw dr Banks and she just didn’t seem like she cared at all , and It shouldn’t have to be this way especially while pregnant.

Make sure you get names of ANY potential witnesses to your discrimination that includes nursing staff and front desk help.
