I made an appointment to have the straps on a dress shortened, nothing crazy. In my online booking I noted the date I needed the dress back by, which was a full week after the appointment. When I arrived they told me it would be two weeks otherwise I would have to pay an additional rush fee between $25 and $50. She didn’t even bother to look at the dress. I walked right out.
I had an excellent experience with Jimmy at ALTS Hoboken. His attention to detail, professionalism, and craftsmanship are exceptional. He took the time to make sure everything fit perfectly and made the entire process easy and enjoyable. You can tell he truly cares about his work and about making sure his clients are happy with the final result. I highly recommend Jimmy to anyone looking for a skilled, reliable tailor in Hoboken. I will definitely be coming back!

I cant leave a 0 star review, but that is exactly what this store deserves. The work is comparable to cheaper alteration boutiques, and on top of it the communication is frustratingly poor. I brought in 2 dresses for alteration, one of them was poorly altered in the first round, and when I asked the tailor to make corrections i was quoted a new price for those corrections initially.
