My husband arrived at the emergency room at 11:00 pm. for a work accident. He works in the kitchen and had a severe cut on his finger. It's 5:20 a.m. and they still haven't treated his finger. They only moved him to a room at 3:00 a.m. The care and wait time are horrible. They're supposed to be dealing with emergencies.
I’m hesitant when coming to emergency rooms because it feels like most times you get dismissed and not taken seriously but the few times I’ve been here throughout my pregnancy I’ve gotten some pretty great care among the staff. The doctor I had tonight took me very seriously and ran all possible tests and even brought in a specialized ultrasound tech to be able to give me a for sure diagnosis. The drive in area for emergency is a total shit show. People going all directions. Jammed up if its busy. Granted it's partly due to people not taking the time to read signs....but picture this....you have a real emergency...and you're already stressed out....then you get to the entrance area to emergi and it's a cluster****... Now compounding your stress. Not good
Thank you to Chuck and Darren the paramedics they were the best. Thank you to the nurses and Dr German for treating my 2 year old.
we had to bring my bfother to the er for a possible brain bleed ans waited for oved an hour recommend to go to express walk in clinic or call the ambulance
