The inpatient psych facility at altru is horrible ,no mental health support in a mental hospital is crazyyy!!! the psychiatrist is extremely ignorant and disrespectful. Altru is so focused on “ updating”its psych facility yet do not improve there staff ,Doctors, and quality of care. The ER staff/doctors/nurses however are amazing in psych situations. Dr Dauksavage has been one of the most helpful psychiatrists I have had the pleasure of working through. My fiance passed away last year and I was at a loss, and my major depressive disorder and anxiety were off the charts. Her professionalism is on point and the way she treats me as a patient, and makes me feel like someone cares about my mental health is more than I could hope for in a doctor. Highly recommend 💯
