There is not a single bad thing that I can think of to say about Alton recovery. It’s saving my life, and all the staff are amazing!!!! I never would have expected how well that they took care of me. I honestly have already recommended this recovery facility to members of my family. I have zero complaints, and am still amazed that places and staff like this exist.
I was at Alton Recovery for over a month, coming in for an addiction to benzodiazepines and alcohol. My 5-day detox was incredibly smooth; the staff checked on me constantly and I was able to speak with someone every day. They helped me through the detox so it wasn't a bad experience at all, making for an easy transition back to being sober. Alton Recovery was such a blessing for me. The staff always went above and beyond no matter what time of the day. I felt comfortable the second Jordan picked me up at the airport. When I walked in the door I was greeted with smiles and was walked through the program. I can’t say enough nice things about this place. Rachel, Tanner, the whole staff was great. I was at peace the whole time there. It saved my life. Thank you.
Alton is a great place surrounded by great people who helped me through my time there. From the techs to higher up’s this is by far the best detox/residential i’ve ever been to.
