Jim and Phillip gave us everything that we had asked for. The picture where the painting is hanging is where we decided to put the fireplace. We own a craftsman home and wanted a wood burning fireplace, that had a brick white washed effect. Jim and Phillip communicated throughout the entire process. They also worked with us and were flexible with scheduling working times. As you can see we love the fireplace and use it throughout the fall and winter seasons. Our cats love it too!

These guys are great! Altmann installed an electric fireplace for me. The fireplace opening was too large for the fireplace we chose. The trim kit needed modification and some additional materials so the fireplace would fit. They made the mods and fabricated some additional trim pieces using materials they supplied and it fits perfectly. In addition they built a sturdy wooden frame, attached to the firebox, so the unit sits perfectly and securely in the fireplace. Altmann Construction was hired to demolished my leaning 1928 chimney and old wood burning fireplace. They replaced it with a natural gas fireplace, my home is finally warm! The fireplace had some mechanical issues, nothing caused by Altmann Construction just a fluke bad part, they stayed on top of it and now it's perfect. They were punctual, honest, easy to work with and I am extremely happy with the entire project. I look forward to using them on more projects.

I purchased an older home that had the fireplace poorly remodeled. I reached out to Mr Altmann and his ability to identify the problems and address them in short order were outstanding. Very knowledgeable company with great communication. Thank you Jim!!!!!!
