The food and service were good but not great. You’re paying for the view. I suggest riding the incline and go to the saloon across the street for a drink. I had a cocktail at the bar, two glasses of wine, appetizer, entree and dessert for $200 plus $40 tip. I’ve eaten better food around the world for less money. I’m not sure I would do this again.
The scallops were seared perfectly, delicate inside with a bright citrus note, while the short rib carried depth and tenderness. Service felt polished yet approachable, and the sweeping city view turned the evening into something memorable.
Angie was a wonderful server, the food was amazing and the atmosphere was great, beautiful views and they gave us some complimentary bites and dishes that were awesome as well. We’ll be coming back more often even if it means the 2 hour drive, it is that good.
Went to Pittsburgh for a weekend visit and had dinner at Altius. This was one of the best dining experiences we’ve ever had anywhere! The view is breathtaking, the service impeccable and the food is brilliant and delicious! We cannot say enough about how amazing it was for us!! It is a must when you visit Pittsburgh.
