Both Dishonest and Unreliable Alterra Pest Control out of Anaheim California is the epitome of a bad company. Their bright eyed and well-spoken door to door salesperson convinced us that it would be $99 a year, which gave us pest control sprays every 3 months. Sounded like a good deal. Unfortunately I didn't read the small print. It was not $99 per year, but rather $99 every 3 months. And you committed to a full year of it with your signature. I'm trying to cancel my service and did so in writing 9/16/15 . Rep called today to schedule service and I told her I cancelled service. She said a supervisor would call me back to confirm, still waiting. Bet they try and Bill my cc for service. Their service is awful. You can't control pests coming every 3 months. Ridiculous. I have had nothing but problems with them since the get go.
This is the absolutely worst company ever!! I have called and called to cancel my ineffective service and they still keep charging me. They never answer the phone during business hours. Now, I am going to have to have my bank block payment since they will not stop charging me. I talked to my lawyer and he said that it might be worth looking into filing a class-action lawsuit because he is sure that I am not the only one who is being forced with service like this.
