Alterations by Christy is the BEST!!!!!!! I went to Christy for all my wedding needs. I went to her for mine and my wedding parties dresses to be Altered she was AMAZING!!!!!!! I would not trust anyone with my wedding dress but Christy!!!! Not to mention she is AMAZING when it comes to my daughter's cheer uniforms!!! Bad Customer Service We rented a tuxedo and shoes for prom. Her staff failed to give us the shoes at the time of pick-up. My did not have the shoes we prepaid for prom. When I requested a refund of the shoes, they refused to give us one and said it was our fault. I have several wedding events coming up and will NOT return there, but will drive to Charlotte instead.

As soon as you schedule an appointment, there is no more to worry about I was in a fix, I ordered my dress from one of the big name Bridal shops, I got my dress, and it was way to big, several sizes I believe. I took it to a family member who does all of my alterations. She said that the dress had to be remade, that my best option was to find another dress. I called the bridal shop and they were not any help. I began to panic, and then I heard about ALTERATIONS BY CHRISTY!! and how she specialized in formal wear. I was nervo... read more
disappointed bride I was referred to Christy by a very reliable source who owns a bridal shop. I purchased a wedding gown that needed work on the delicate lace and I knew it would take a very talented seamstress to work on it as the lace work and design was detailed. The entire dress was altered perfectly except for my train. I do not think Christy's expertise is in delicate lace work and I would never recommend anyone to her for delicate lace work. "Stunning" Alteration I ordered a knockoff wedding dress online approximately 2 months prior to my wedding. I ordered the dress 2 sizes smaller anticipating I would loss weight before the wedding. When the dress first arrived I could not fit the dress over my hips. A month later the dress went over my hips but was very, very tight!
