Very satisfied I was in an absolute LAST MINUTE bind for a bridesmaid dress in August 2010. I received my dress on a Friday and had to have it finished being altered by Monday to get in the car and drive out of state to a wedding. The wedding mall referred me to Christy's and I am so glad I found them. They took me in right away and had my dress completely ready with all the needed alterations by the time i needed to leave. wardrobe "fixes" Christy has the expertise to handle the usually small but delicate fixes that can make a garment new again. I don't trust anyone but Christy to alter my clothes because she consistently delivers professional results. She is the best!
Happy Bride Christy altered my wedding gown and steamed it for my wedding and portrait session. My portrait session was rained out, so I had to have it steamed again. Christy was very helpful about making sure that I got my dress when I needed it. She did a great job on the alterations. I thought that the dress looked great! I felt so beautiful on my special day.
Bad Customer Service We rented a tuxedo and shoes for prom. Her staff failed to give us the shoes at the time of pick-up. My did not have the shoes we prepaid for prom. When I requested a refund of the shoes, they refused to give us one and said it was our fault. I have several wedding events coming up and will NOT return there, but will drive to Charlotte instead.

so much more... So much more than alterations! Christy also teaches a sewing class, for those of us who can't quite get our machines to work! She also does Tux Rentals, and more, for proms and weddings. Stop by her shop in downtown Monroe!
Best buisness I have ever done... Honestly, there needs to be an option to add more gold stars. Christy certainly earns them!!! I cannot recommend her any higher to any girl/woman who needs to make sure that the job is done right and on time for that special occasion. As soon as you schedule an appointment, there is no more to worry about I was in a fix, I ordered my dress from one of the big name Bridal shops, I got my dress, and it was way to big, several sizes I believe. I took it to a family member who does all of my alterations. She said that the dress had to be remade, that my best option was to find another dress. Great Work! and Competitive Prices! I have known Christy for 18+ years. She had never done any alterations for me until last month. I ordered a mother-of-the-bride dress for a special occasion, and when it arrived, it was 1-2 sizes too big! She was able to alter and make this dress fit like a charm.
