I took my very expensive mother of the bride dress here and they butchered it to say the least!. When I tried it on I literally cried. In panic mode to find someone to fix the mess this place left of my dress I found Marilyn at Alterations by Marilyn in the Barton Ave area. Marilyn was so gracious to fix my dress days before I had to wear it. She had to REBUILD the whole dress and thank goodness she was talented enough to be able to do so. I've used Alteration Queen multiple times for hems and repairs. Service and quality are top-notch. Turn-around times are fast. I highly recommend.
I needed a dress altered for a wedding coming up and the Alteration Queen got everything measured in under 15 minutes (including me getting changed) before work. She was clear and communicative about when the dress would be ready. I was happily surprised about the quick turnaround time! I picked up my dress exactly a week later and it is perfection. I will be back for my alteration needs!
