Quickly becoming my favorite restaurant in NEPA. The food is cooked to perfection, and the atmosphere is comfortable, fun fine dining.
Best quality dine-in restaurant in the Clark's Summit area . highly reccomend
Never had a bad experience there. Great food ,drinks ,and service every time hands down.
The Alter House is the only location my husband and I have found stateside that is all around on par with our dining experiences while touring Italy. The staff has mastered the art of consistent availability and attentiveness without causing a feeling of being rushed. The atmosphere is beautiful while still remaining casual and relaxed. The cocktails were all perfectly crafted. The food was out of this world and beautifully plated. We couldn’t find a fault and will certainly be back very soon.

Service is excellant, food is delicious. place was redone over. great job on the decor. Happy hour 5.00 wines was great!!! John Smith played hes fantastic.
Great atmosphere most friendly employees
Recently enjoyed Alter’s Happy Hour. Fun sitting at the bar watching Eric do his mixology mixes & Pat was very informative on the wines we chose to sample. Would have liked a couple more option on pairing appetizers. Kudos to the pastry chef on her creative deconstructed lemon meringue pie that was very impressive and tasty.
Great bartenders - very personable - excellent options for light fare - we had the Charcuterie board and Octopus appetizer - delish!
