Sam did my hair exactly what I wanted and made it look phenomenal. I feel confident for once! I've never gone back to any location after getting my hair done BUT Alter Ego.
I love the atmosphere of Alter Ego, Laura did an amazing job with my pixie and fashion color! She was extremely through and spent an entire day with me. Her Shampoo was amazing and I'm now in love with R&Co products lol!!
Mandy is totally awesome! When I decided to go with purple hair, she added depth and dimension, using multiple shades for a real wow factor. Highly recommended!

Ashley was amazing! She spent time making sure we were on the same page with what I was looking for and then she did a great job with her execution. She worked at an awesome pace so she didn't rush but I wasn't stuck there for hours on end. I am thrilled with my hair and will definitely recommend Alter Ego and Ashley to my friends. Also, the building and space itself is very cool and relaxing and I love the location.
I spend 3/4 of the year in Raleigh, and 1/4 in L.A. I used to wait to have my hair done in L.A. by a long trusted stylist + another colorist. No need now because I've found not only an equivalent, but probably a better hair studio! At the risk of increasing the difficulty of scheduling with the two stylists I've enlisted over the years, I have to say that Dana and Meghan are stellar in every way. It's rare to find such consistency, craft, and stylistic savvy (both in color and cut) in one stylist, and both got it goin' on.
Was a model for a class. Dana, the owner, was very polite and offered her student Liz great instruction for all questions. Liz did a great job, has great instincts and talent.
