I came in Friday to get a balayage done by Andrea, never have been to this salon before and I absolutely loved it! she did an awesome job, kept good conversation and made sure that my hair was more important then the money which to me won me over I will continue to go through her, and this is my new favorite place! (inside is super cute also)😘

I used to get my hair cut at Alter Ego when I lived in town, so when we decided to have our wedding in Peoria I knew Alter Ego was at the top of my list to have my and my bridesmaids' hair and makeup done at. Hailey did an amazing job with my hair and makeup, and everyone in the bridal party (and my mom!) looked stunning. Their prices are reasonable, and we had so much fun getting ready at the salon. Went to get hair and makeup for an event. Makeup was horrible! Went home and cleaned my face and redid it myself. Hair was left frizzy not salon quality. Also, had to fix when I got home. The person that did my hair should not be doing hair and makeup. She needs more skills and training. I still paid for the service because I didn’t want to disrespect her time. The salon owner should vet the stylist before hiring!
I’ve tried multiple salons and multiple stylists, but was never really happy with the results. I made an appointment with Cassie Ways at the suggestion of a friend. After a brief consultation, she knew exactly what I wanted and how to achieve the color I was asking for, all while helping to make my hair it’s healthiest. My search for the perfect stylist and the perfect salon is over!
Hailey did an amazing job on my hair today! I had gone to another salon a few months ago and they butchered my hair. I was nervous about getting it fixed, but she easily made me feel comfortable and relaxed. I left LOVING my hair! Thank you for making me feel confident again, and able to wear my hair down and not in a messy bun 24/7!
Cassie W is AMAZING. Not only does she do amazing hair, she is like my life coach lol. Cassie is an amazing colorist and also the coolest chick you will EVER meet. Five stars strong!
Excellent! I'm a stylist from another town, 125 miles away. This place is warm and friendly, and stylists are highly qualified and educated.
