I had replaced my handlebars on my road bike and couldn't get my front derailleur working correctly. Happened to ride by and they were very happy to help and my bike is shifting better than the day I bought it. I'll definitely be going to them for service on my bike from now on!

Alter Cycles is the type of place bike shops should strive to become, but most fail. Every other shop I've been to has made me feel like another face in the crowd. Sure, they all care about bikes and most do a decent job with what you pay them to do, but they could care less about you. Alter is different. Alter is a place that makes me want to stay. They know who I am and what I want. Alter isn't driven by a superiority complex that is common in the bicycle industry. It's not just another bike, here. It's my bike.
Where do I begin? I have had my bike in this shop a couple of times and every time I become more impressed with their work. They are extremely friendly and open to all skill levels, if you have a question no matter how silly it may seem they'll answer it. Their work is top notch and turn around time extremely quick. Overall it's a very enjoyable and friendly atmosphere. I will definitely keep using this shop for all my cycling needs!
