Awesome! Dr. Larkins is THE BEST. He is what all veterinarians should strive to be like. He loves animals and is very good at what he does and does not BS you. My three dogs found their new doctor!
Altamonte Veterinary Hospital -Dr. Larkin's is so compassionate I personally, as well as our rescue group, has been going to Dr. Larkin's since 2002 and he is the most caring and compassionate vet that I know. His office is not the fanciest hospital in this area, but his prices are not out of this world either. A True Animal Doc I would tell everyone that this hospital has been around for a very long time, and has just recently been rennovated, so please not that all of the reviews on here were before that. Dr. Larkins is very caring and compassionate and loves animals, which is why he has so many in his office. He works closely with several rescue groups and provides help with many services including taking in animals that might otherwise be euthanized. A Veterinarian w a heart Dr. Larkins was wonderful. I brought in a dog that got sick while I was boarding it. I had neglected to get the owner to write permission for me to get a vet if needed. Though the dog was vomiting repeatedly, the owner refused to give me his vets information. Since humane treatment required I get the dog medical care due to the urgent symptoms, I got confirmation from Seminole County Animal control officer. Then called a friend for a vet referral. Altamonte Veterinary Hospital is Simply The Best SIMPLY THE BEST !!!!!!!!!!!! Doctor Larkins is a skilled surgeon. His staff is great too. Together they make an amazing team. He is always always happy to explain procedures and after care. He has helped many Rescues in Florida. He saved my dogs life. Check him out. Doesn't your pet deserves the best.
The BEST Vet that we have ever encountered..... My husband and I were very fortunate to come across this veterinarian. He and his staff are very compassionate and professional. We have never, in all our years of being blessed with animals, come across such a loving, caring provider. I will be looking for a new vet immediately. I have been trying to call this vet for several hours. Online it says they are open and it's a week day no reason for it to be closed. I have also been trying to call the emergency line for two hours with no response and no one answering. This vet did a very poor job on my dog with her surgery and the stitches have come out even with her wearing a cone. I will be disputing the charges for the poor services performed if I do not hear back from the vet ASAP.
