It's great The hospital took such good care of my animals, I can't believe they treated my pets exactly the way I treat them and that makes me feel very comfortable knowing that I can count on someone with more knowledge to watch over them. Thank god for this hospital. I love them.
One of the Best Dr. Larkin is one the most hard working and caring Vets that I know. I am a dog trainer and let me tell you what if there is anything I need, it doesn't matter what time it is, the doc it always there. Every time I have to take my dog or any of my dogs I watch to him there is always a straight forward answer. He exceeds my expectations always. CAUTION!!!!! Please please reconsider using this vet. The last review on this page, the one about the chihuahua, is just the tip of the iceberg! These poor people who left good reviews have no idea what goes on behind the closed doors of this office. If you truly love your pet take them somewhere else for their care! This man is beyond cruel and his staff is just as cruel for letting him do what he does to the animals.
filthy place So I call up the Altamonte Veterinary Hospital and schedule my puppies first visit. I'm the first one there when they open. When I walk in, I smell a putrid urine smell. Then I see this woman come out the office with a plastic water pipe thats been sawed off and at the end she has a wet towel. She mops the floor like this. Then I go in and wait in the room for the vet, and there is dog/cat hair all over the walls sticking to the tiles and their is a turtle tank that has hair all over the top. I have never been happier I have never been happier with a vet. Everytime we take our dog in (boarding or regular care) they take the best care of her! We don't have to worry about her at all. She truly enjoys going. The staff is very friendly and knowledgable and seems to care a great deal about their charges. Thank you for making ourselves and our baby very comfortable.
DON'T EVER BOARD YOUR DOG THERE Please do yourself a favor if you love your pet and DON'T EVER BOARD YOUR DOG THERE. First they charged $120 for shots, but when I called before picking her up, they hadn't done the shots, but said the guy on the phone said they still needed to by law (if it was for the law, then you violated the law by having her there for three days with no shots). Awesome Vet!! Dr. Larkins and his staff are AMAZING. Very caring and considerate. I have never felt like he was "calling it in". I receive only the best of care here.
Dr. Larkins is great Dr. Larkins is a wonderful veterinarian. Him and his staff were kind to both me and my cat. For example, he gave her a shot, and I didn't know it because he kept petting her until it was over. He has animals all over the clinic, which shows how much he loves animals. I boarded my cat there for six days and was quite nervous. I got her back and she was as good as new. His fees are fair.
We LOVE our vet! We have had four animals and 13 foster dogs. All of our pets and "freeloaders" have gone to Dr. Larkins. We can not express how wonderful and thankful we are to have a good vet in our area. Our cat passed away last Oct. and both the vet and staff were wonderful.. they were caring and professional. Words cannot express the gratitude for their care.
