AWESOME DOCTOR AND STAFF
I really feel like the treatment I received here has made my condition worse. They won’t turn my cpap down so it chocks me so much I rip it off. It unusable. I’ve asked for it to be turned down and they said try nasal pillows. It’s been over 5 weeks and I still don’t have them. The medical suppliers they work with won’t get them to me. I’ve begged and begged and told them I can feel myself dying at night. Been days and no response. I’m looking for a different doctor. I have to. Dr Al is always very attentive and listens to my issues.
He LISTENS. He believed me when I told him about my issues and gave me the official diagnosis I’ve been needing and put me on a sleep plan thats been working wonders!
***Update 8-10-25. Dr Al messed up a sleep study ordered by the the VA, because he's still convinced he knows better than everyone else, regardless of what test results say. The VA ordered a repeat sleep study. Let me first say that the VA pulmonologists have been simply amazing. The mistake we made in this situation was when the scheduler asked if we wanted to come all the way up to do the sleep study at the VA, or if we wanted to get it done more local. We had already driven the two hours to the VA hospital twice in a week... read more
