Too many staff changes. Irresponsible corporate management. If you want to feel like a person, seek treatment elsewhere.

Here now. It seems like they just keep admitting patients beyond their capacity to give adequate individualized care - they were struggling with that when they had 12 patients in PHP, now they have 19 or 20. Apparently, one of the largest milieus they’ve had. I’m seriously struggling and feel like I’ve been in limbo since I started weeks ago. It’s not to say that the staff isn’t good. They’re very lovely. It just seems to me to be a systemic issue. Trying to talk myself out of this feeling like a money grab vs patient care.

This place truly made me leave with a smile. I was at Alsana PHP for 14 weeks and felt like I was meant to be there. They deeply care about you and not just your eating disorder. They treat co-occurring disorders. All the staff is awesome and want the best for you! I was getting homesick and it was effecting my recovery so they took time and found something closer to home for me. I live half way across the country. The staff is very knowledgeable and educated in more than just eating disorders. The chef made AMAZING food. Th... read more

This place honestly saved my life. The programs are well-organized, the groups were great, and all the therapists and dieticians are very knowledgeable, empathetic, and trustworthy. The food is superb as well, made by a very friendly chef. All the direct care staff are caring and compassionate. I went in feeling hopeless and defeated and left feeling hopeful and renewed. Highly recommend.

i went to alsana for 7 months i was there for so long because nobody knew how to treat an eating disorder that isn’t the “typical” ones like anorexia or bulimia. groups about arfid were asked for but never happened, i only received help from a few staff members who did help me a lot with getting over my fears and made a huge difference (dietitian jess and dc maddelyn) , while they helped other staff members could be rude at times if you struggle with more than just an eating disorder. there was a therapist named either naomi... read more
