Absolutely wonderful! I made the decision to buy a SMART car off the side of the road. The seller cleared/hid the OBD fail codes. Both were for emissions (of course the only thing that needs to pass inspection). SMARTs are made by Mercedes. The only SMART repair shop is New Country in Hartford and their rates for repair are on a "Mercedes rich" scale. On to my experience with Al's Garage...I brought in my SMART car to Ronny at Al's. Honest guys and solid work. Will be going back for more work on my '02 S10
Brought in my car that another mechanic had attempted and caused additional problems. I explained what had happened and was told that I could bring my car in same day. Within an hour my vehicle was fixed and the cost was well below my expectations.
I've been a customer of Al's garage since 2019, and I wish to never go to a different garage. Everyone who works there is very kind, I've met Ron, Earl, Mary Jane. They are very skilled and they can usually repair your car very quickly. I've never had to wait more than a day to get my car in. My car recently needed a new thermostat and a new alternator.
