This makes me wonder how many houses have had this happen to them. They thought that because it was hard to see what they did, that no one would look. Two out of the 6 runs they didn’t even attempt to seal. I thought that after I talked to their supervisor, and he sent them back that they would be extra meticulous the second time. They weren’t. They only fixed half of them, leaving one out of the two with no sealant at all still, and still a crappy job on the rest. I then told the supervisor to come by because I was uneasy a... read more

It appears to me that they charge significantly more than their competitors for identical services.

They took advantage of my mother they charged her $870.00 for 3.5 hours. They claim that she should pay for their travel time as well. However it was a second trip because they didn’t fix everything the first time. I think They took advantage of her because she is a widow. Do not give them the business. They are dishonest!!!!!

Business response:

Have you called the office and spoken to the owner yet? He's good to talk to.

I called to have a mini-split recharged. It still had a partial charge, but needed less than half a pound of r410 refrigerant. They charged me $79 (diagnostic fee) to tell me what I already knew... that it was low on coolant. And quoted me $1,100 to charge "up to 4 pounds" of refrigerant. ELEVEN HUNDRED DOLLARS?? The tech told me it's a "flat rate". I called Conan who came and did it for $119. (INCLUDING DIAGNOSIS). Alpine lost a customer because of this.

This amazing company has taken care of our needs several times. Last year our furnace went out, of course when the temp was 2 degrees. They also replaced our AC unit. They were so clean we didn't see any evidence they had torn out our old messy furnace. Each time we do a remodel in an investment home they are always right on top of everything. We trust them and we are grateful for their ethics and reliability. Thank you!

I JUST moved into a home last night. The thermostat read 44°, burr! I called Alpine at 8 pm for help because we could not for the life of is figure out was was wrong with our new furnace and didn't want pipes in our house to freeze or to freeze to death. When they mean 24 hour service, they mean 24 hour service!!! Somebody was at our house within 30 minutes and fixed it for us. Thank you so much for coming out the night before Thanksgiving and helping us out❤

We recently purchased the new Carrier Infinity furnace with AC. This furnace is perfect as the multi stage function leaves the basement as comfortable as the main floor. Thanks to Derek for his patience as we decided which unit to purchase. Our experience with Alpine was super from start to finish. No games, just a great product for a great price. Do not hesitate to purchase your new furnace at Alpine! 5+ stars!

Alpine installed AC for us and we’ve had nothing but problems with it. It’s been frustrating since we spent a good amount of money to have a cool house for the summer and we have not gotten that!

Business response:

I am sorry, Rachael. The pre-existing ducting is not allowing enough airflow across the coil. Jeremy should be dropping by to see how we can improve the ducting to allow more air-flow to correct this issue.
