I bought my McIntosh MC 2105 Power Amp, had it recapped, and have had my Audio Technica turntable's RCA cables fixed by Alpha Tech and they are definitely top notch! Thanks! :-)
I've been having my HK 730 serviced here for many years, like since the '80's. Nothing very serious, just a cleaning. Always appreciate their knowledge and professionalism. Recently got some free advice over the phone to correct a problem with my Denon DP-52F. Works great now. My recent visit cost less that estimated, very cool. Can't imagine a better place to go to for service on vintage equipment.
I am so happy to have found Alpha Tech. They just fixed my vintage Dual 1019 turntable that a local repair shop couldn't fix in three months and cost me $85 to make it worse than when I took it to them. Kevin and Ed are top notch. Professionalism and customer satisfaction are their strengths along with just knowing how to fix things. RecommendedLast year my Nakamichi Cassette deck started acting up. I took a chance and took it to Alpha Tech. They checked it out and called me to let me know what was wrong and needed to be done. Essentially a "tune up", two weeks later it was ready for pick up. They replaced the belt, cleaned and lubed and performed various tests to confirm it was performing to spec. It was. I have had two pieces of stereo equipment services by Alpha Tech over thirty years, and both were repaired professionally and thoroughly checked. This is the highest quality service I have had from any techs. Just recently I had a 40 year old stereo receiver completely brought back to 'as new' standards. Great communication from these guys and very fair prices. I highly recommend Alpha Tech for your electronic needs. No problem is too daunting for them.
Great to deal with. They buy sell repair turntables and electronics. As I was selling some items , I saw them work with a customer and change the needle on the turntable and be sure they had the proper cables. Very friendly and informative.
I needed a needle and some education for my RCA Victor Stereo console and they had exactly what I needed in stock as well as giving me a lesson on how to get my console back in shape. It's from 1961 and I am now enjoying 60 year old records on it :)
