I want to congratulate Dr. Louis ALPERN for my SUCCESSFUL Cataract surgery. As an older patient I am happy to report that my recent visit to renew my Texas drivers license was a big success as "wearing glasses" when driving was removed from my driving restrictions; which is a big plus for me! During every checkup Dr Alpern and his staff do a very thorough eye exam. Recent I had cataract surgery. Knowing I have astigmatism and have been very nearsighted since childhood I had some apprehensions. He knew which lenses were best for my situation and I’m glad to report very good results for both distance and closeup activities.

I was referred to him for a second opinion by my eye doctor on why my vision was blurry after PRK. Dr Alpern’s staff was great, and after completing numerous tests on my eyes, he gave me a very detailed explanation of why my vision wasn’t perfect. He was friendly and professional and was willing to answer all my questions. I would highly recommend Dr Alpern to anybody who is looking for a good eye doctor.

I was diagnosed with cataracts in March 2019 in Thousand Oaks, California. Being a resident of El Paso, I was fortunate enough to find Dr. Alpren. As my cataracts progressed over the next 1 1/2 years, it became time to have the needed surgery. I'm grateful to Dr Alpern for his knowledge and skill! After having cataracts removed from both eyes two weeks apart my vision is almost perfect. I'm 67 years old and never thought I would be without eye glasses. His staff is courteous, efficient and follow his lead, you can tell they have been well trained. The wait time was minimal and the office immaculate. His staff helped me setup and preregister my surgery, all I had to do was show up. I highly recommend Dr Apern!

Dr.Alpern performed cataract surgery on both my eyes he is very attentive and explains procedure with much patience his staff works well with patients. Would highly recommend him

Dr. Alpern removed cataracts from both of my eyes 10 or so years ago and did an excellent job. He is professional and caring as are his entire staff. There is sometimes a waiting period but it is well worth it because once he walks in the room you have his complete attention and he will answer any questions you might have. My eyes are too important to trust just anyone and I have total faith that Dr. Alpern is one of the very best.
