One of the oldest working dairies in the Oregon, this spot is a fun tour for families. There is a lot to see including cows, old cars, a pond with ducks and a museum with old toys and machines, some of which date back to the 1800s. Pony rides and games for kids are offered from June through August. A 15-minute drive from Portland, it is an interesting look at one of the area's biggest industries of yesterday. There is no admission fee.

As a girl in the 50s ....we raced Quarter Midget race cars at the track at Alpenrose. It was a second home to my family and our racing pals. Thanks to the Cardenau Family and so many others for the JOY of Alpenrose Dairy. Thank you!
We love attending the Alpenrose Christmas Event every year!
Alpenrose has the best, freshest tasting fat free cottage cheese in the industry. Doesn't taste fat free and 99.9% of the time is the right consistency - thanks Alpenrose.
There's nothing more special than coming to Alpenrose Dairy and seeing the "special sparkle" in children's eyes, also "grownups", as they wander through the Christmas village!!! Then go get some goodies to eat... But don't forget the cup of hot chocolate!
Dairyville was great for the kids. Lots of indoor options in case it's raining. Plenty of parking just a short walk.
Alpenrose Dairy has a 4.4 star rating with 477 reviews.
Alpenrose Dairy is closed now. It will open tomorrow at 7:00 a.m.
