lee I never knew how expensive this animal hospital would be. I was told they have very reasonable prices, but was shocked when i received the bill ! I really had to question it. I should of Checked around first for prices on vaccines and found one ( later) that had prices way lower. Well I had a sense of uncomfortableness in that hospital as if something was going on their that they didn't want the public to be aware of. It was uncomfortable.
Great Vets, pricey I can't believe the negative review given by another poster. I can only assume he/she is referring to counter service, which at times is extremely slow and seemingly indifferent. I have knocked a star off due to the above. The Vets are amazing. Absolutely 5 star. The care is outstanding. The bill, not so pretty. I tried a lower cost vet and came running back with my tail between my legs. The care my pets receive here is worth it.
Alosta Animal Hospital is the best I have 2 dog's and have always had the very best care but the vet's who will show love and compassion to you and your beloved pet. I will never take my animal's elsewhere. I have been to other vets and no one come close to Alosta, The price is high but the quality of care is great and worth every penny if you love you animals.DR. Tracy Dupree is a great VET. Thank you to the staff and Dr. Dupree.
SSGT Schmidt I just happened to look at the reviews for this hospital while looking for a Vet in my area. Wow, good thing I did I was thinking of trying them out looked like a nice hospital and in an area that is nice, didn't know the doctor had so much bigotry towards the GLBT community, I am straight and married but my brother and his partner have been together for years and I see the all the crap they have to go through as being a couple,where we just take our freedom for granted. COMPASSION AND EXPERTISE While trying to nurse our beloved 16 1/2 year old dachshund back to health being treated for stomach flu symptoms, we found ourselves 45 miles from our regular vet when over a period of 30 minutes, she took a dramatic turn for the worse. A phone call to our regular vet helped us understand what we already knew; our pet was dying - and suffering. Seems like a good place I have purchased some special pet food from Alosta Animal Hospital. They were nice, caring people. I had a good experience dealing with them. Worth checking out.
Hateful Place My friend recommended this hosptal because she told me that they had modern equipment. She forgot to mention that they are pricey, although granted, they are well staffed, some folks on this board seem to have an issue about this doctor giving to the prop.8 campaign and stories about his other doctor. I dont know how someone who claims to care can have hate in his heart and care for animals...those two do not go together. Opinionated Woman Well, Helen I agree with you everyone has a right to their opinion, but when you goto an establishment to spend your money and knowing the owner gives to a well known hate group that is fighting against your cousins basic human rights to exist and be recognized as a person. Helen I just took my dog Souflay to this wonderful hospital. I am truly amazed at the complete care being given to him. Everyone from the receptionist to the Doctor are just wonderful. I feel so luck to have found them after getting not such good care previously ( two weeks ago in La Mirada) This place is amazing. I could only hope to find a people Dr as good for myself. PS. I love my gay cousin but everyone has right to their own beliefs, I will take my dogs/cats to the best Dr, no matter which political stand they are on. ... read more
