RecommendedJust finished our week long camping trip. Stayed at Along the River and were pleasantly surprised. Thankful we picked a larger spot as some of the sites are a bit narrow but it allows for more sites with river views and sounds. The family that owns the camp is gracious and really invested in creating a great experience for their guests. Their little camp store has the basics and there are general stores nearby that carry anything t else you might want. Great campground for a base to explore the White Mountain area; easy to get to many attractions. Scenic riverfront was just perfect to relax nearby after a busy day. New owners care about the campground; it is clean, quiet and nice flat sites. All the campers we met were friendly too :).

we loved it here it was a smaller campground and very intimate the owners were very nice and even came out to the pool to talk to us and everyone at the pool, the bathrooms were very clean and the showers were huge and very clean if i had to say anything negative it would be that the toilet paper was impossible to get to flow freely out of the dispenser it would only come out 1 sheet at a time.
Me and the family checked out today. We had 3 sites and cabin 4. I disagree with the reviews, the tent sites were perfectly sized, I have a 20’ tent and it fit no problem with my car picnic table and fire ring. The owners are so nice, and even drove around chatting with people. My aunt loved the cabin and it was GREAT to have a full kitchen to feed all 9 of us. All in all great place. Yes it’s on the main road but that also makes it easy to get anywhere.
Great Campground. New owners are great about taking care of the facilities and are very friendly & helpful. Small campground with plenty of things to do: River, pool, rec hall , etc. Near plenty of hiking & other NH attractions. Already planning on making more reservations. I highly recommend this place.
This is our 5th time here and again does not disappoint! New owners are so nice and the place is spotless! Close to everything. We went to Storyland, Santa’s Village, Cannon Tram, Hobo Train, and Loon Mountain. Truly you can just sit and relax next to the river or in their super clean pool. Can’t wait for next time!!
