Having a scary diagnosis of uterine cancer, there is nothing you need more than a surgeon who knows what he is doing. I am happy to be on the other side of my hysterectomy and each follow-up appointment Dr. Pant asks me if I have any questions or concerns. And he takes all the time needed to answer. His kindness while giving clear, honest answers is so appreciated. Highest recommendation.
Dr. Pant was very knowledgeable at my initial visit and offered a full explanation of what he thought my condition was , along with answering almost all of my questions in his explanation without me having to ask. I was in the hospital for 4 days after surgery and Dr. Pant came to check on me each morning, including Saturday and Sunday. Dr. Pant performed ovarian cancer surgery on my wife, and during her long battle with this condition we felt that we could always count on the cutting edge knowledge and support of Dr. Pant and his team of nurses. They are a model for combining the best possible surgical skills and compassionate care. Their continuous encouragement and good dose of cautious optimism helped us to better face very difficult times.
Amazing, caring, skilled and compassionate doctor and surgeon. Takes time to get to know his patients and explains procedures in a complete manner. I hold him in very high esteem and cannot say enough good things about him....Truly a healer....
Dr. Pant is a rare doctor. He is sensitive, down to earth, respectful, listens, takes his time and offers great care to cancer patients. He is an excellent surgeon, explains things and is always there if you need him. He is a partner in your care. I could not have asked for a better doctor. Would highly recommend him to anyone going through cancer and treatment. Could teach some other docs about bed side manners too. One of kind professional!
Surgery was 11/17, had an area on the incision that was not healing. Pointed out a lump that was to the right of the incision to be told by Dr Pant that it was fluid that would reabsorb. In 3/18, this area burst through my abdomen, went to another surgeon as the area was open and weeping. I have a serocele, requiring a hemovac to vacuum out the area that I will have to carry around for 2-3 weeks. This is a major inconvenience as I am going through chemotherapy with radiation to follow.
He had his mind made up before even a first meeting or exam. Couldn't explain UFE procedure questions I had. So, he didn't have to even touch my bloated, fibrous uterus. Oh, but for sure I should see another dr. I'm perfect. So pass the buck.
