Hotel is convenient and in a quiet area. Hotel staff was friendly and room was clean, but it needs some attention to detail. Pool was closed during my entire stay. Breakfast is paid but the food is decent. I would return next time I’m in the area.
I really want to like Aloft hotels. I'm a fan of the stripped down dorm room aesthetic. But there are so many minor things that are really annoying that I can't give more than three stars. No shelf for your own products in the shower. Love putting my razor on the floor. The bed is a mattress on flat wood with no lip to keep it in place. This has the effect of making the entire mattress slide away from the wall if you try to sit up against the headboard to watch the TV...which is opposite the bed...so you would think that sit... read more
Solid. Nice rooms. Fun vibe. They have those pillows that deflate on you tho. You know what I’m talking about. Where 1 pillow deflate is not enough but if you stack 2 pillows it’s too high and now you’re annoyed in your hotel bed. They got those.
Me and my friends stayed at the aloft and ended up getting held at gunpoint by a "friend". We don't blame the hotel, definitely not the most secure place. This was years ago, and I don't want to give the hotel a bad rap , but what happened happened, i moved on. I'm sure she has to, but definitely for lexington. I wouldn't consider it safe.
