Great proximity to the Fox Theater and sports stadiums. Gorgeous historic interior. The apartment rooms on the 11th floor are wonderfully spacious with a full kitchen and lounge area. And, you're right on Woodward Ave with many new and old shopping and dining options. Great stay!
Awesome location - especially for the Tigers, Lions, Died, Fillmore, Opera House, and any other downtown venue. Rooms ending in 07 are the best corner for the view.
First time in Detroit in years. I was awe struck walking into the lobby. One of the most architecturally stunning properties. The rooms are massive, clean, and elegantly appointed. The restaurant on site was stellar! Highly recommend! Will stay there again.
Great location and hotel overall. The front desk was great, bar was great, but Nasim the valet verbally berated me and called me a verbal expletive for my comment about the pro hamas protest in Detroit. He followed me around the property and called me and my wife a derogatory term multiple times. I will be reporting this to 1855MICHTIPS hotline for supsicipus activity. Marriott should not be employing people that attack their guests.
