This is more like a 2.5 star review rounded up. I've stayed in Alofts before and am fine with their concept. They aren't fancy or large rooms but are usually clean and nice with excellent customer service. Because of my husband's status, we always stay in Marriott properties. But this was not a great experience. Checking in, the man at the front desk was very unpleasant and unhelpful. The parking situation is less than ideal. Front desk attendant seemed annoyed to check me in. My wife and I turned the corner for the elevator and were immediately barked at by another guests’ dogs. Not what you’d expect walking into a hotel lobby. The trash can in the bathroom still had trash in it and there was trash on the floor in the bathroom. This is the second time I’ve stayed at this hotel and other than the location to campus there is not much to recommend.
