RecommendedI visited a few friends that have stayed at Almost Home Lodge while they worked in Branson. It's in a great location and is quiet and peaceful. The owners are friendly and helpful. Plenty of eating options close by if you don't have a vehicle.
Evicting during a pandemic? Even when you are aware that the money is coming?Shame on you!!
Evicted an acquaintance of mine during the covid 19 shutdown
During the Covid pandemic they are throwing people out while they await unemployment. They enter your room whenever they want without regard to personal privacy. They have called me several names and tried to intimidate me out by TURNING OFF MY POWER. I paid them and they still evicted me, gave me a week. When I informed them that turning off a tenants power to force them out is illegal, they did it anyway and now moved my evictionfr next Thursday to tomorrow at 9am
COVID is effecting so many employees that are having alot of trouble getting their unemployment. Evicting anyone during these hard times is absolutely insane and not okay.
This place and anyone like them dont deserve anyones business. They're evicting struggling people during a pandemic which prevents these people from working.
These are disgusting money grubbing people. I have a friend who is staying there (They offer long term occupancy), and he is being kicked out while waiting for his unemployment (he is a job holding american, who lost his job due to covid 19) to kick in. he even paid them some money to try to placate them, and they are still threatening to evict. I was on a fixed income and broke, when Tiffany decided to kick me out for having "one too many" one night and calling her a bad word. She is a very moody person and was always yelling at me for the slightest thing, including accusing me of saying I was accusing her of stealing my mail!!! I was literally thrown onto the streets without a place to stay because she threw me out before I was paid by social security; I had no where to go. Have lived here 3 months now. It's a nice place and the owners are great. 5 stars for sure.
