Read negative reviews, but word of mouth so high, I decided to "Try." I must say, firstly, they are housed in a warehouse, which is as most party rental companies are, 99% of customers do not go there. I looked on their extensive website, and called. Not only were they courteous, they gave me time, and attention. I rented several items for a last minute party, and they looked FABULOUS!

As an event planner, Almar party rental provides most of the rentals at our events. We are never disappointed. I've never had to physically go to their office and why would I as they offer delivery and pickup. I think its silly someone wants to complain about their office being messy and for having a dog, DON'T BE RIDICULOUS! This company is highly professional, punctual, and offers more of a variety of high quality rental items than most party rental companies out there.

WOW! So happy that I read these reviews the first one , I thought,"can't please everyone" by the time I got to the last one. I thought to myself, I will pass. I was about to call them.

I had been renting from Almar for years and recently needed some linens for a last minute event so I figured I would just stop by and pick them up from their store. Sadly, the store location was beyond disgusting. For starters, the building is in a creepy, remote location. There is a note on the office door that says "BEWARE OF DOG" which is not the most inviting thing to see. The office itself was this small, depressing room with very dim lighting. Let me start off by saying, I rented with Almar one time and that will be the last time I work with them. I rented the pretty gold ballroom chairs for my brother's engagement party. Placing the order was the easy part, getting the chairs was a whole other story. First, we specified a delivery by 1pm and the chairs came a little after 3pm. I asked the driver why the chairs had arrived so late and he simply answered "we have other orders ma'am" abd then continued having the guys bring in the chairs. I have been using Almar for over 30 years and they have never disappointed. I called them this morning for a last minute delivery and they are so accomodating that I will have it later today! They also have provided excellent party planning for me.

This is the third time I have used Almar and I have to say, I would never use anyone else. They are fabulous. We rented a huge tent and the men who erected it were very considerate of the surroundings, we had a party and used the dishes and glasses and they delivered exactly when they said they would and told us to put the things outside for the next day and they spirited them away. Horrible customer service, don't have manners. They're only interested to make business with you if you're spending a minimum of $1500, otherwise will not even have the courtesy to listen to your call. Look for another rental business.
