Fantastic experience – We were traveling by boat through Charleston the week before Christmas and badly needed a makeover. Based on another reviewer's comments, I asked for Christine. She's great and I walked out a new person -- she did a fantastic job both with color and cut. Only wish I could take her with me to the Bahamas as my personal hairdresser! On the way back north in the spring, I'll be sure to make another appointment.

best salon in charleston – I love allure salon! I have lived in Charleston for over 17 years and have been to many different salons. Allure has been my favorite and only salon for almost 3 years. All of the staff is very friendly and helpful, it is a pleasure to be pampered here. I highly recommend allure salon to get your hair done. Andrew is the only person that I trust with my hair, however all the other stylist run a close second. If you are looking for a new stylist definitely choose one from here.

My color has never looked better – I walked into Allure with solid white blonde hair and an outdated cut. Christine worked her magic and gave me beautiful natural blonde hair with low-lights and high-lights. It is so dimensional and I have gotten so many compliments! Stylists usually whack away at my cut and Christine transformed it into something chic and manageable that fit my face shape. I will definitely be coming back!

Andrew is Absolutely Amazing – I recently moved to Charleston and found Allure Salon by walking down King Street. Andrew was my stylist and he was phenomenal . Before hand I was a dark brown and I explained to him I wanted something vibrant and fun, I ended up walking out a fiery hot red head. I don't think I will ever change my hair color now. My hair looks GREAT! – Wow, I actually came to citysearch tonight to give compliments to Allure for a job well done today. I was shocked to read the last review from 714shann. Andrew also cut my hair today and everything - start to finish - was completely professional! Andrew was personable and super knowledgeable, everything I asked for, he was able to do flawlessly. First and last time at Allure – I drove 1.5 hrs to get my hair done here. I was running 5-10 mins late especially because there were only 2 parking spots for the entire salon (they told me to park in the church spots that clearly states they will tow). I gave the salon a courtesy call to let them know. When I arrived they were welcoming of a new client and offered refreshments, but I waited 35 mins for my stylist, Andrew. Allure is always great! – I happened to be checking out this site and saw one of my favorite places...Allure. I've only been there 3 times (only because I live in Ladson and it is not really convenient for me), but I had the 3 best haircuts/stylings of my life. While I know a number of the stylists there, if was a pleasure to be put in the hands of Andrew. My last session with him was 2 days before our daughter's wedding. I love Hailey's cut and color job! – Haliley is the best stylist ever to touch my hair. The only problem we ever had was when the color she used wouldn't take on my hair and she fixed it at no cost of course. She has a great personality and a great eye for color and style. I look forward to my visits with her and suggest her to all my friends. Everytime I leave Allure I look awesome!!!!

Finally, someone who knows how to cut my hair – I didn't know my wavy-ish hair could be curly until Jimmy started cutting it. No one else I've been to has cut my hair right for the thickness and irregular wave that it has. What Jimmy does seems basic, but no one else has done it right--he lightens the heavy layers, evens it up it makes my hair fall like it should.
