I purchased my first house 3 years ago and have been with Gary and Allstate since. I have never made a claim. I called a week ago on Monday 4/1 (Today is Sunday 4/7) to ask why my insurance rate has increased 14% and spoke to a representative who said they're not sure why other than to keep up with inflation. They told me they would have someone call me back with more information. Still have not received a phone call and am still in the dark as to why my premium has increased 14%, double the inflation rate.
